When we looked inside a few of the new builds, they were great- nicely decorated rooms, with modern showers and all the modern equipment in the kitchen you could ever want. The only thing they lacked was space - many of the character properties had huge high ceilings in all of the rooms and the proportions of the house were amazing - all the houses felt really big, and there was loads of stoarge, which is really what we need with the amount of things we have!

The island itself is idyllic, and the climate is simply perfect. Even on very hot days, we found a very pleasant cooling breeze which enabled us to remain comfortable. We're going back in a month from now, and we found a cheap flight from Gatwick Airport. Rather than book the trip through an agent, we have decided to organise it ourselves, so we have booked ourselves into a very nice hotel that's just a few yards from the beach.

However, I can't choose between laptop computers or netbooks when it comes to performance and ease of use. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Obviously, laptops have more power, but the increased portability of the netbook makes it very attractive. Plus, netbooks have the advantage of being much cheaper than even entry level laptops. Thinking about it, I'll still have my desktop at home, and when I'm on the move I'll mostly just be writing emails and using Word, so I don't need the added power of a laptop for that. I think I've made up my mind - netbook it is!
